Tipped as one of the UK's hottest new artistic talents, Marten followed up her exhibitions in Zurich, Paris and London by showing as part of The Encyclopedic Palace at Venice Biennale International Art Exhibition in 2013.

The artist, who specialises in scuplture and graduated from Central Saint Martins in 2004, has won prizes including the LUMA prize in 2012, the Prix Lafayette in 2011 and the Boise Travel Scholarship for 2008-2009, and was named by W Magazine as part of its New Guard 2013.
